New player guide

#1
Information
This is just a simple overall guide for new/newer players. It isn't meant to cover everything extremely in-depth, but I'll go in to as much detail as possible.

1. STARTING OFF

NOTE:VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE, VOTING GIVES YOU VOTE POINTS, VOTE POINTS ARE INVALUABLE, THESE CAN BE USED FOR GEAR, ITEMS, AND EVEN TOKENS USED TO PURCHASE LATER TIERS OF ARMOR (SEE TIER 12 ARMOR FOR EXAMPLE)

To start off after you have made your character and logged into the world, your first step is to grab start gear and items and all your spells, and set up your talents/UI ( won't be going into any detail on UI, as this is 100% user preference, and even addons come down to what you personal like or don't like).

-Starter Gear

To get your first set of gear, first go to the 'Starter Gear 255' vendor which will be located directly in front of you when you spawn. This vendor will sell start gear for your class, including all armor slots (shirts/taberd/trinkets/librams/idol/etc all included), bags, a hearthstone, starter weapons, and something called "Scroll of Berserk". This is a very good buff scroll, get it, and always keep it active (use it and you get a 1hr buff).

-Spells

Spells will be extremely simple, as all you need to do is go to the trainer right next to the starter gear vendor. You click her, then click "Aprender Spells!", this will teach you all spells. NOTE: Idk if this is 100%, but sometimes it seems some spells are missed, or perhaps if you don't get your talents first you wont get the max level for that spell, there are trainers in the mall for each class incase this happens, just learn any spells you may be missing from them.

-Talents

Unlimited-WoW has a special custom level of 255, this being said you will learn that you actually have 246 talent points, enough to fill out every talent tree for every class. This means picking a specific "spec" isn't really as important talent wise, as it is gear/spell choice wise.

-Hunter pets

There also is a beastmaster in the starter area, this vendor will be for hunters only, so unless you are a hunter, you can basically skip this vendor all together.

-Other items to grab

Now that you have all your talents, your gear, your bags, and mostly everything you need to start doing instances to gear up, the last thing you want to do is grab any buffs, gems, or reagents you may be missing. A vendor at the start zone, right next to the trainer vendor, called the "currency vendor" will have food (this heals and gives all food buffs, you should grab this), any class specific items, I.E. sacred candles, holy candles, ankhs, etc., a quiver or ammo pouch, grab this if you are hunter for your ammo, also on the very last page there is an item called the "mini-teleporter" buy this, its a pet you can summon that will act as a teleporter, and can be very useful. You can also use your hearthstone, and it will spawn a little world you can click and use as a teleporter, I usually use the pet however.

2.Gearing up:

Now that you have all that you need to start, find the nearest "buffer" npc and get buffed, and heal yourself. Now with all buffs, (make sure you eat too), use your mini-teleporter and choose the option "custom instances" now choose the tier you wish to obtain. EACH TIER GOES IN ORDER, IF STARTING OFF FRESH, YOU NEED TIER 1, THEN WITH 8 PIECES OF TIER 1, YOU CAN MOVE ONTO TO TIER 2, AND SO FORTH, YOU CANNOT SKIP TIERS.

Also another thing to note, to get the gear you need to complete the quests, usually at each instance (besides offset pieces, which usually drop off bosses, excluding some quest pieces).

https://ibb.co/d0JMmT   https://ibb.co/dyzSRT   https://ibb.co/gVBwLo

Move through each tier of gear, gathering the mats from each instance and eventually you'll reach tier 14+, usually this is where you'll be grouping up for instances, which honestly in my opinion adds more fun to it all.

I'm going to add the materials required for the full sets of each tier up to tier 13, I will update it as I progress myself. Weapons will be a different section all together. I may have not mentioned for every tier, but most offset pieces drop off bosses, some are quests like gruuls lair offset quest pieces, however the bosses still drop offset pieces in gruuls lair.

NOTE: SOME INSTANCES NEED KEYS, THE KEY QUEST GIVER IS IN THE MALL, AS SEEN IN THE PHOTO LINK BELOW. GET THESE KEYS BEFORE YOU MOVE ONTO THE NEXT INSTANCE, AS YOU CAN NOT ENTER, FOR EXAMPLE, GUNDRAK, WITHOUT THE GUNDRAK KEY.

TIER 1
Emeralds-400
Armor parts-40
Both are gathered from Tier 1 instance, Razorfen Kraul

TIER 2
Lost Amethyst-1600
Black Souls-1600
Pirate Gold-1600
Tier 1 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
These materials are gathered in Onyxia's lair, tier 2 instance. Onyxia will also drop off-set pieces.

TIER 3
Radiant Emerald-2400
Harvested Soul-2400
Armor Parts-2400
Tier 2 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
All materials here can be gathered in the tier 3 instance, aside from harvested souls, which you can farm off both silver/golden pigs @custom zone~Silver and Golden pig farm

TIER 4
Radiant Diamonds-2400
Harvested souls-2400
Armor parts-2400
Tier 3 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
Again, all materials here can be gathered at the tier 4 instance, across from the tier 3 one, aside from harvested souls.

TIER 5
Pirate Gold-2800
Radiant Primal Might-2800
Tier 4 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
All these materials can be gathered in the Monastery, tier 5 instance.

TIER 6
Primal Might-4000
Armor Parts-4000
Unholy Emblems-4000
Tier 5 amor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
All of these materials can be gathered in the deadmines, tier 6 instance.

TIER 7
Gundrak tokens-8000
Super Armor Tokens-8000
Tier 6 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
All these materials can be gathered in Gundrak.

TIER 8
Zul'Aman Tokens-8000

Super Armor Tokens-8000
Tier 7 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
Zul'aman will drop each material needed for tier 8, along with pvp upgrade tokens, needed for tier 9-11 sets

TIER 9
PvP upgrade token (I)-8
Tier 8 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
as previously stated, these materials can be gathered from zulaman, the bosses drop them. However, you can also use honour to buy these tokens, incase you've been doing some pvp or have some from a bg win, etc.

TIER 10
PvP upgrade token (II)-8
Tier 9 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
Same as above, except you need the II tokens. Bosses from Zulaman will drop all the pvp upgrade tokens, so farming them is probably your best bet, it took me no time personally for full tier 9-11.

TIER 11
PvP upgade token (III)-8
Tier 10 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
as you can probably tell, all this armor is basically the same to get, just with different tiers of pvp upgrade tokens. Again these drop from zulaman too. or honour, however each tier is more expensive in honour to buy the tokens, I would stick to farming zulaman, people buy ZA mats for alts anyways.

TIER 12
Upgrade Vote Marks-8
Tier 11 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next
Now you need to spend honour, from the special currency vendor, or arena points, to obtain the upgrade vote marks. You can also get them from 5 vote points, so it is wise from the start to be voting, I'll put a note at the start of the guide mentioning it, even if you don't buy the vote upgrade marks with votes, you can get alot of other very useful items and gear too.

TIER 13
Tier 13 upgrade tokens-1 of each piece (I.E. Tier 13 leg token)
Tier 12 armor-each piece is needed to upgrade to the next

Now you will be farming tier 13, but instead of the regular mats off mobs being used, the bosses drop tier 13 tokens, and these are all you need to get the tier 13 armor. They drop quite often, the instance is easily soloable, and most people including myself often have doubles-triples of each token from farming the legendary tokens needed for weapon upgrades.

3.Weapons

I will come back to update this, but for now the best advice I could give is to never get tier 1 weapons. They are in RFC, and they do not upgrade. You should start by going to the element zone, and farming elements or trading for elements. Upgrade a weapon fully to metal, then you can do the tier 3 SFK quests to upgrade further.

ELEMENT WEAPONS:
To get a metal element weapon (needed for bronze gladiator, aka tier 3 weapon) you need to first go from fire 1, 2, 3 to nature 1,2,3 to water, then to metal. The mats required for a single weapon of any kind is as follows:

Fire Element: 800 (I=200, II=300, III=300)
Nature Element: 900 (I=300, II=300, III=300)
Water Element: 300 (just one tier of water)
Metal Element: 500 (like water, just one tier of metal)

Once you have a metal weapon, you then go to SFK and farm materials to upgrade it to bronze gladiator. The materials needed for each upgrade are as follows:

Radiant diamonds:500
SFK tokens:500
Super Weapon Tokens:500
Lost Amethyst:500
50,000 Demon Heads Coupon:500

These materials are gathered from shadow fang keep, dust pigs at silver/gold pig farm, tier 2 instance, and tier 4 instance. It is wise to farm extra mats in tier 2/4 to have it ready for the weapon when you need it.

Next is Silver gladiator, or I guess tier 4 weapon if you'd like to call it that. This is a simple upgrade, and all you need is harvested souls and silver dust, each upgrade is as follows:

Silver dust:4000
Harvested Souls:2000

Golden gladiator is the next step, being just gold dust. Simple and easy. 8000 gold dust is needed per upgrade.

The next tier is weird, its almost as if it skips from tier 4 to tier 12, but regardless to get the next upgrade called diamond gladiator, you must farm gruuls lair, alot.

Each upgrade will be composed of:

Grand token:1
Super weapon tokens:5000
Gruuls lair tokens:40000
Weapon upgrade tokens:40000

This will be a lot of farming. But after this you move on to farming for legendary tokens, from tier 13, you only need 500 per upgrade, it is quick and easy.

i will continuously update this guide, clean it up, and add any more details I learn as I play. I just found it hard starting off when I did, as if other players willing to help werent around, I felt kind of lost on where to go and what to do.
