PATCH-7 INSTALLATION GUIDE
In case you want to use our WoW Launcher which contains Auto Patch-7 updater and installer, clear "cache" option, recent news and PvP statistics you can download our Launcher: here
If you want to proceed without the launcher, follow these steps to install Patch-7.
Step 1) Close WoW.exe (if it's running)
Step 2) Go to your WoW folder (directory) and remove the WDB folder (cache).
In case you already have "patch-7.mpq" remove it.
Also remove it from your downloads to make sure you are installing the lastest patch.
Step 3) Download the Patch
- Download Patch-7.MPQ
Step 4) Open up the "World of Warcraft" DATA directory.
The default directory is "C:\World of Warcraft 3.3.5a\Data"
Step 5) Place the "patch-7.mpq" file there.
Attention: Make sure the name is "patch-7.mpq" and not "patch-7.mpq (1)".
The installation is now complete, you can start playing by clicking on "WoW.exe".
PATCH-8 INSTALLATION GUIDE (CATACLYSM & MOP TRANSMOGS)
Step 1) Close WoW.exe (if it's running)
Step 2) Go to your WoW folder (directory) and remove the WDB folder (cache).
In case you already have "patch-8.mpq" remove it.
Also remove it from your downloads to make sure you are installing the lastest patch.
Step 3) Download the Patch
- Download Patch-8.MPQ
Step 4) Open up the "World of Warcraft" DATA directory.
The default directory is "C:\World of Warcraft 3.3.5a\Data"
Step 5) Place the "patch-8.mpq" file there.
Attention: Make sure the name is "patch-8.mpq" and not "patch-8.mpq (1)".
The installation is now complete, you can start playing by clicking on "WoW.exe".
